1. With key ON, engine OFF, and pilot control switch ON, maneuver backhoe controls in all directions to deplete
pilot controls hydraulic accumulator charge (TM 5-2420-231-10).
2. Remove cap from hydraulic tank (TM 5-2420-231-10).
3. Remove pilot controls hydraulic accumulator (Figure 1, Item 2) and O-ring (Figure 1, Item 3) from pilot control
valve assembly (Figure 1, Item 1). Discard O-ring.

Clean and inspect all parts IAW Mechanical General Maintenance Instructions (WP 0369).

NOTE
Remove plugs and caps from hoses and fittings.
1. Install new O-ring (Figure 1, Item 3) and pilot controls hydraulic accumulator (Figure 1, Item 2) on pilot control
valve assembly (Figure 1, Item 1).
2. Install cap on hydraulic tank (TM 5-2420-231-10).
