REAR CHASSIS MOUNTS REMOVAL CONTINUED
NOTE
The procedure for rear chassis mount removal and replacement is identical for left-hand
and right-hand rear chassis mounts. Left-hand rear chassis mount is shown in this
procedure.
5. Remove nut (Figure 2, Item 2), bolt (Figure 2, Item 5), washer (Figure 2, Item 4), and rubber mount (Figure 2,
Item 1) from machine.
6. Repeat step 5 for right-hand rear chassis mount.
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Cab weighs 2,500 lb (1,134 kg).
7. Using lifting device, raise rear of cab just high enough to remove large washer (Figure 2, Item 3) and rubber
mount (Figure 2, Item 6) from machine.
8. Repeat step 7 for right-hand rear chassis mount.
