1. Remove two thumbscrews (Figure 1, Item 1), washers (Figure 1, Item 2) and valve cover (Figure 1, Item 3)
from cylinder head (Figure 1, Item 5). Do not remove gasket (Figure 1, Item 4) from valve covers.
