HORNS
The floor switch for the air horns is in front of the
steering column on the left side of the neutralizer
brake pedal. The horns are mounted under the right
platform above the hydraulic tank.
PARKING BRAKE
The parking brake is controlled by a push-pull
knob on the steering column. If a shift to FOR-
WARD or REVERSE is made while the parking
brake is ENGAGED, the master fault light and fault
alarm are activated. There is also a transmission
neutralizer which shifts the transmission back to
neutral.
With the application of more than normal force,
the transmission lever can be held in FORWARD or
REVERSE with the parking brake engaged (either
engaged manually or by loss of system pressure).
This is so that the machine can be moved in an
emergency.
