ENGINE CRANKCASE
WARNING
Hot oil and components can cause injury.
Do not allow hot oil or components to con-
tact the skin.
CAUTION
Never install a damaged filter. Damaged
filters can cause severe damage to the
engine.
1. Remove the crankcase drain plug and
drain the oil.
The machine must be level and the
engine oil warm. Lower the bucket with
slight down pressure.
2. Remove the filter with a strap-type
wrench.
Apply the parking brake and stop the
engine.
3. Clean the filter base. Remove all of
the old gasket.
