I f h y d r a u l i c o i l l e a k a g e i s s e e n , t i g h t e n h o s e f i t t i n g s . Iftightening does not stop leakage, replace part(s) (page 11-32).b. If hydraulic oil leakage is not seen, go to step 3 below.Step 3.Inspect clamshell cylinder assemblies (page 11-71).a. If clamshell cylinder assemblies do not check okay, replace(page 11-72).b. If clamshell cylinder assemblies check okay, go to step 4 below.Step 4. Start engine and operate at idle speed.Place CLAM control lever in CLOSE position until clam is completelyc l o s e d.Shut off engine and operate control levers several times to relievehydraulic system pressure.H y d r a u l i c s y s t e m p r e s s u r e i s o v e r 2 0 0 0 p s i a n d h y d r a u l i c r e s e r v o i r ispressurized with compressed air.
