(j) Using a clean cloth moistened with cleaning solvent, remove all traces
of gasket (4) material from suction strainer (3) and transmission
h o u s i n g.
( k ) I n s t a l l n e w g a s k e t ( 4 ) a n d s u c t i o n s t r a i n e r ( 3 ).
(l) Install six lock washers (2) and capscrews (1). Tighten capscrews
s e c u r e l y.
Dry cleaning solvent P-D-680 used to clean parts is toxic and flammable.

a t t e n t i o n i m m e d i a t e l y . I f c o n t a c t w i t h s k i n o r c l o t h e s
w i t h l a r g e a m o u n t s o f w a t e r . I f c o n t a c t w i t h e y e s is
with water and get medical aid immediately.
(m) Using clean cloth moistened with
cleaning solvent P-D-680, clean
area surrounding breather.
(n) Remove breather.
(o) Clean and flush breather using
cleaning solvent P-D-680. Dry
u s i n g c l e a n c l o t h.
( p ) I n s p e c t b r e a t h e r ; r e p l a c e i f
clogged.
( q ) I n s t a l l b r e a t h e r ; t i g h t e n
