Defroster Switch and Circuit Breaker (cont).INSTALLATION (SHEET 1 OF 2)(1) Inspect wire lead (4) for cracked or broken insulation or broken wirestrands at connection to terminals. Repair cracked or broken insulationby applying insulation tape to area.If broken wire strands are seen, re-place wire lead.(2) Inspect wiring harness spade terminals (5, 6, and 7) wire for cracked orbroken insulation or broken wire strands at connection to spade terminal.Repair cracked or broken insulation by applying insulation tape to area.If broken wire strands are seen,cut wire as close to spade terminal aspossible. Strip 1/4 inch insulation from end of wire taking care not tocut through wire then crimp new spade terminal securely onto wire.(3) Install double spade terminal (8) on circuit breaker (13) terminal bygrasping terminal (8) with your fingers and firmly pushing it ontoc i r c u i t b r e a k e r t e r m i n a l.10-60
