10-8. CAB DEFOGGER FANS MAINTENANCE (CONT)

Install one screw (5) in defogger fan (6) mounting hole. Position terminal (7)
on this screw.
Raise defogger fan (6) into position and install and tighten screws (5), three
lock washers (4), and nuts (3).
Connect wiring harness light green wire terminal and defogger fan terminal (2)
by grasping both with your fingers, alining and firmly pushing them together.
Connect battery ground cable (page 5-151).
Start engine and operate at idle speed .
Set defogger fan switch to HIGH or LOW
position. Check that defogger fan operates . Set defogger fan switch to OFF po-
sition. Turn off engine. If defogger fan does not operate, refer to trouble-
shooting (page 3-173 or 3-176).
