Replaceas necessary.Inspect springs (7, 9, 15, 18, and 26) for signs of permanent set,cracks, deformation, or distortion. Replace as necessary.Using spring gage, check spring (7). Replace spring if pressure requiredto compress spring to 2.50 inches is not 80 to 90 pounds.Using spring gage, check spring (9). Replace spring if pressure requiredto compress spring to 1.43 inches is not 72.20 to 82.20 pounds.Using spring gage, check spring (15). Replace spring if pressure requiredto compress spring to 2.08 inches is not 18.9 to 23.1 pounds.Inspect body (29) for cracks, scoring, or damage. Inspect bores forscratches or damage. Replace control valve if body (29) requires replace-ment.Check valve stop (22) for cracks, breaks, deformation, or distortion.Replace as necessary.Inspect remaining parts for cracks, breaks, deformation, or damagedthreads.
