Pull trimmer valve plug (6)
from body (29) using slip joint
pliers.
Remove regulator valve spring
(7), retainer (8), and trimmer
valve spring (9).
Remove plug (10) and gasket
(11). Discard gasket.
Put plug (10) in soft jawed
vise. Using drive pin punch,
push piston (13) from plug.
Remove and discard seal (12)
from piston.
Remove clutch
(29) port.
cut off valve (14) and spring (15) from control valve body
NOTE
In following step, spring tension is against plug (16). Be sure to
loosen plug first, then hold against spring (18) tension and remove.
(10) Loosen plug (16). Hold plug against spring (18) tension and remove plug
and gasket (17). Discard gasket.
(11) Remove detent spring (18) and
detent ball (19).
(12) Remove plug (20) and gasket
(21). Discard gasket.
(13) At rear of body (29), use a
screwdriver and remove valve
stop (22).
(14) Using punch and hammer, drive
valve spool (24) until oil seal
(23) is pushed from body (29).
