Connect tachometer cable to tachometer drive assembly (refer to TM
5-3805-262-20) .
Connect cables and wire to starter solenoid terminals (refer to TM
5-3805-262-20) .
Connect cables to starter ground terminal (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).
Connect restriction indicator hose to engine (refer to TM 5-3805-
262-20).
Connect alcohol evaporator tubes to air compressor and governor (refer
to TM 5-3805-262-20).
Connect air supply hose to air compressor (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).
Connect air compressor governor hose to top of air reservoir (refer to
TM 5-3805-262-20).
Install bracket with accelerator cable and fuel shutoff cable on engine;
then connect cables to fuel injection pump governor (refer to TM 5-3805-
262-20).
Install heater hoses and clamps on engine (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).
Connect electrical lead to water temperature sending unit (refer to TM
5-3805-262-20).
Secure wiring harness to engine using clamps and new tie straps (page
3-275) .
Install radiator guard and radiator (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).
Install exhaust system muffler and pipe (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).
Install engine side supports and hoods (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).
Fill engine with engine oil (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).
Fill cooling system with coolant (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).
