TM 5-3805-262-34REMOVAL(1) Attach chain hoist to engine and take up slack.(2)Remove lock nut (l), washer (2), capscrew (3), and washer (4).When using chain hoist to remove or install parts, be sure chain hoistis securely fastened to the part and that all slack in chain is takenup. Failure to do so could cause serious injury due to the part fallingon you. If you are injured by falling equipment, obtain medical aidimmediately.Do not raise bracket (8) more than 1/4 inch in following step. Raisingmore than 1/4 inch may damage transmission mounts and other components.(3)(4)(5)(6)CLEANING(1)Using chain hoist on engine, slowly raise bracket (8) no more than 1/4inch above washer (9).Support bracket (8) using second chain hoist and remove four nuts (5),lock washers (6), and capscrews (7).Remove bracket (8) from loader.Remove washer (9) and rubber mount (10).Clean rubber mount (10) using detergent. Rinse using clean water and dryusing clean cloths.Dry cleaning solvent P-D-680 used to clean parts is toxic and flammable.Wear protective goggles and gloves and use only in a well ventilatedarea. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes and don’t breathevapors. Do not use near open flame or excessive heat and don-t smokewhen using it. Failure to do so could cause serious injury. If you be-come dizzy while using cleaning solvent, get fresh air and medicalattention immediately.If contact with skin or clothes is made, flushwith large amounts of water.If contact with eyes is made, wash eyeswith water and get medical aid immediately.(2) Clean all other parts using cleaning solvent P-D-680.
