Wear protectivegoggles and gloves and use only in a well ventilated area. Avoid contactwith skin, eyes, and clothes and don’t breathe vapors. Failure to do socould cause serious injury. If you become dizzy while using carbonremoving compound, get fresh air and medical attention immediately. Ifcontact with skin or clothes is made, remove clothing and wash affectedskin area with large amounts of water. If eye contact is made, flushthoroughly with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes and getmedical aid immediately.(1) Remove carbon and varnish deposits from rocker arm shafts (37) and rockerarms (23, 27, and 33) using carbon removing compound.Dry cleaning solvent P-D-680 used to clean parts is toxic and flammable.Wear protective goggles and gloves and use only in a well ventilatedarea. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes and donut breathevapors . Do not use near open flame or excessive heat and don’t smokewhen using it. Failure to do so could cause serious injury. If you be-come dizzy while using cleaning solvent, get fresh air and medicalattention immediately. If contact with skin or clothes is made, flushwith large amounts of water. If contact with eyes is made, wash eyeswith water and get medical aid immediately.Compressed air used for cleaning purposes will not exceed 30 psi. Useonly with effective chip guarding and personal protective equipment(goggles/shield, gloves, etc). Failure to do so could cause seriousinjury to eyes and possible blindness.If you hurt your eyes or if aforeign object is blown into your eyes, seek medical attentionimmediately.(2) Clean all parts using cleaning solvent P-D-680. Clear oil tubes (31) andoil holes in rocker arm shafts (37), rocker arms (23, 27, and 33) andbrackets (26 and 36) using compressed air. Dry using clean cloths.3-66
