Install nut (34) and adjusting
screw (35) on rocker arm (33).
Install nuts (28) and adjusting
screws (29) on two rocker arms
(27).
Install nut (24) and adjusting
screw (25) on rocker arm (23).
Lubricate all rocker arm assem-
bly (21 thru 37) parts using
clean engine oil.
Position spring (32) on rocker
arm shaft (37).
(6) Install rocker arms (27) on rocker arm shaft (37), with oil holes posi-
tioned as shown.
(7) Install brackets (26 and 36). Position bracket oil slots toward push rod
side of assembly as shown.
(8) Install rocker arms (23 and 33).
(9) Install same number of washers (22)
at each end of rocker arm shaft (37)
as noted during disassembly.
(10) Install retaining rings (21) using
retaining ring pliers.
(11) Install oil tube (31) toward push rod side of assembly as shown.
(12) Install new O-ring (30) on oil tube (31).
(13) Check that rocker arms (23, 27, and 33) rotate freely on rocker arm shaft
(37).
