If margin on used orground valve is less than half the margin on a new valve, do not grindthat valve. Valve must be replaced.(b) Using precision seat grinder on valves (6 and 9), grind lightly at angleshown. Take light cuts on valve faceto obtain smooth finish.until just enough metal is removedPrussian blue contains toxic cyanide. Wearand use only in a well ventilated area.protective gogglesAvoid contact withand glovesskin, eyesand clothes and don-t breathe vapors. Contact can cause serious injuryor death. If you contact Prussian blue, flush area with large amounts ofwater and get medical aid immediately.(c) Apply small amount of Prussian blue on valve face. Install valve (6 or9) in cylinder head and valve face on seat insert (7 or 10).(d) Remove valve (6 or 9) and inspect contact area on valve face. Bluingwill be removed from valve face where contact was made with seat insert.Refer to illustrations on following pages for correct and incorrect in-dications as well as remedial procedures.3-80
