Each malfunction or trouble symptom lists probable causes and suggested cor-rective actions to remedy the situation.b.This manual cannot list all possible malfunctions that may occur or alltests, inspections, and corrective actions. If a malfunction is not listed (exceptwhen malfunctions and causes are obvious), or is not corrected by listed correctiveactions, notify higher level maintenance.c.The troubleshooting procedures list the common malfunctions that you may findduring the operation or maintenance of the MW24C loader. ENGINE HARD TO START OR WILL NOT START (NO EXHAUST SMOKE).NOTEIf fuel is pumped through fuel injection pump (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20) go to step 3 below otherwise go to step 1 below.Step 1.At fuel injection pump, check that fuel shutoff lever is completelyopened. (Fuel shutoff lever is completely opened when it is behindfuel injection pump.)a. If fuel shutoff lever is not completely opened, adjust fuelshutoff cable (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).2-4
