Thenremove lever link assembly (58 thru 64) and slide stop (40) from insidegovernor cover (77).NOTESprings (60 thru 62) exert pressure on retaining clip (59). Keep a firmgrip on retaining clip (59) until springs (60 thru 62) are fully ex-tended.(20) Carefully slide retaining clip (59) from lever link (64).(21) Remove three springs (60 thru 62) and retainer (63).(22) Press stop pin (58) from lever link (64).Protect gasket mating surface and ridge of governor cover (77) infollowing step to prevent damaging governor cover with screwdriver.(23)(24)(25)(26)(27)(28)(29)(30)(31)Mount governor cover (77) in soft-jaw vise and position protective padover gasket mating surface and ridge of governor cover. Then remove tworetaining rings (69) by carefully prying with screwdriver.Remove plug (72) by tapping end of swivel lever (73) shaft using drivepin punch and hammer. Continue tapping until bushing (71) can slide outof governor cover (77). Discard plug (72).Press bushing (71) from governor cover (77) and remove two O-rings (68and 70). Discard O-rings.Slide swivel lever (73) to opposite side and press second bushing (71)from governor cover (77).Remove and discard O-ring (70).Remove swivel lever (73) from governor cover (77).Remove screw (74) only if necessary for replacement.Remove swivel head (38) and pin (39) only if necessary for replacement.Remove nut (76) and full load stop screw (75) from governor cover (77).3-175
