Remove locknut (38), washer (39), pulley (40), and fan (41).y.Remove dust shield (42) and outer collar (43) from rotor (44) shaft.NOTEPerform following steps only if inspection indicates need for replace-ment of parts.z.Remove rotor (44):(1)Slide paper tubeslip ring end ofontorot or(44) shaft to protectslip rings.(2)Position drive end frame(52) on hydraulic presstable blocks.Leave enough space between hydraulicpress table blocks for removal ofrotor. Do not allow rotor to fallwhen pressed out of drive end frame.(3) Press rotor (44) from drive endaa.ab.frame (52) using hydraulic pressand appropriate driver on centerof rotor shaft.Remove three capscrews (45), retainer (46), and inner collar (47) from driveend frame (52).Pry felt washer (48) from retainer (46).
