Install connector (36), bracket (35), lock washer (34), and capscrew (33) on slip ring end frame. Push insulator (32) onto voltage regulator (29) terminals. Connect electrical lead (31) to voltage regulator (29) terminal stud and install nut (30). Push voltage regulator (29) terminals into connector (36). Install two springs (28) in brush holder (26) and push two brushes (27) onto springs (28). Push brushes into brush holder, then insert a toothpick through holes in brush holder and brushes to hold brushes in position. Aline three holes in brush holder (26) with three holes in voltage regulator (29). Guide end of toothpick in brush holder through hole in slip ring end frame, and position brush holder on voltage regulator. Install and tighten capscrews (24 and 25). Install rectifier bridge (23) and two capscrews (22). 3-220
