Route rear wiring harness brown wire to alternator. Install boot saved
when rear wiring harness was removed on brown wire. Connect brown wire
terminal to alternator BAT terminal and tighten terminal hardware secure-
ly. Push boot up and over terminal.
Route rear wiring harness down front of engine following blackout lights
harness. Remove hardware securing clamp to timing gear cover. This clamp
also holds blackout wiring harness. Put rear wiring harness in clamp and
reinstall clamp. Install two tie straps to secure harnesses together;
place them about 10 inches from clamp and each other.
Route rear wiring harness black-white wire containing fuseholder to en-
gine oil pressure switch.
At rear wiring harness black-white wire, separate fuseholder halves by
grasping ends with fingers, pushing together, twisting counterclockwise,
and pulling apart. Install resistor in fuseholder half. Assemble fuse-
holder halves by grasping both in your fingers, alining, then firmly
pushing them together and twisting clockwise.
Connect rear wiring harness black-white wire spade terminal to engine oil
pressure switch. Do this by alining terminals and firmly pushing wire
spade terminal onto switch terminal.
Route rear wiring harness branch containing yellow-black and tan-black
wire to fuel tank. Position yellow-black wire so that you can reach it
from beneath loader.
From beneath loader, connect rear wiring harness yellow-black wire bullet
terminal to electric fuel pump bullet terminal. Use one tie strap and se-
cure this wire to trunnion grease hose.
At top of fuel tank, connect rear wiring harness tan-black wire to fuel
level sender.
Route rear wiring harness alongside blackout lights wiring harness to
radiator guard.
Remove hardware securing clamp to radiator left side mounting bracket.
This clamp also holds blackout lights wiring harness. Put rear wiring
harness in clamp and reinstall clamp.
Route rear wiring harness branch containing four wires alongside blackout
lights wiring harness over and up to right stop and tail light and flood
light.
