Using electrical tape, tape cab upper wiring harness three wiper motor
wires disconnected in step (4) above to a 16 feet long piece of wire.
This wire-will be used as a fish wire to fish new wiring harness through
left front and rear posts.
At cab ceiling, pull cab upper wiring harness branch containing three
wiper motor wires slowly upward while assistant guides wires through hole
in left post.
At left rear of cab, just behind heater console, disconnect cab console
wiring harness connector from cab upper wiring harness connector. Do this
by disengaging cab console wiring harness connector tabs from ears of
upper cab wiring harness connector using a screwdriver. Grasp connector
body and firmly pull from mating connector.
Reach down into space between cab outer and inner walls and push cab
upper wiring harness connector into cab. Do this by pressing on rear of
connector using your fingers forcing it into cab.
Slowly pull connector and wiring harness down through left rear post
while an assistant guides harness wires. Be careful not to lose fish wire
taped to harness three wiper motor wires.
Remove electrical tape from cab upper wiring harness three wiper motor
wires. Discard cab upper wiring harness. Dont remove fish wire. It will
be used to install new cab upper wiring harness.
