INSTALLATION (SHEET 4 OF 5)
(14) At left rear of engine block, remove hardware securing clamp holding rear
wiring harness. Install blackout lights wiring harness on clamp and rein-
stall clamp.
(15) Install one tie strap spaced between clamps on engine to secure blackout
lights wiring harness to rear wiring harness.
(16) At timing gear cover, beneath alternator, remove hardware securing clamp
holding rear wiring harness. Install blackout lights wiring harness on
clamp and reinstall clamp. Install one tie strap to secure blackout
lights wiring harness to front wiring harness between branches of front
wiring harness.
(17) At left side of radiator, amounting bracket, remove hardware securing
clamp. Install blackout lights wiring harness on clamp and reinstall
clamp.
(18) Install two tie straps to secure blackout lights wiring harness to rear
wiring harness.
(19) At left and right sides of radiator guard, remove hardware securing
clamps holding rear wiring harness. Install blackout lights wiring har-
ness on clamps and reinstall clamps. Branch containing four wires is
routed through clamp on left and branch containing two wires is routed
through right clamp.
(20) Install three tie straps spaced evenly to secure blackout lights wiring
harness branch containing two wires to rear wiring harness.
(21) At left blackout stop and tail light , connect wiring harness pink-white
wires terminal to light wire tagged 23. Do this by grasping terminals
with fingers, alining, and firmly pushing together.
(22) At left blackout stop and tail light , connect wiring harness yellow wires
terminal to light wire tagged 24. Do this by grasping terminals with fin-
gers, alining, and firmly pushing together.
(23) At right blackout stop and tail light, connect wiring harness pink-white
wire terminal to light wire tagged 23. Do this by grasping terminals with
fingers, alining, and firmly pushing together.
(24) At right blackout stop and tail light , connect wiring harness yellow wire
terminal to light wire tagged 24. Do this by grasping terminals with fin-
gers, alining, and firmly pushing together.
(25) Check all wiring harness connections to be sure they are correct.
