Check that multimeter indicates an open circuit (infinity).Disconnect multimeter leads. If multimeter does not indicate an open cir-cuit, disassemble unit and check piston and spring.Install 1/4 and 3/8 NPT pipe plugs in double check valve and stop lightswitch outlet ports.Install 1/2 to 1/4switch inlet port.Connect multimeterminal studs.NPT reducer on double checkConnect air compressor hoseleads to double check valvevalve and stopto reducer.and stop lightlightswitch ter-Apply 10 psi compressed air to inlet port of double check valve and stoplight switch. Multimeter shall indicate continuity (zero ohm). If multi-meter does not indicate continuity, disassemble unit and check diaphragmand piston.Disconnect compressed air source from inlet port of double check valveand stop light switch. Multimeter shall indicate an open circuit (infini-ty). If multimeter does not indicate an open circuit, disassemble unitand check spring and piston; piston may be sticking in its bore.Disconnect multimeter and air compressor hose. Loosen and remove pipeplugs installed in double check valve and stop light switch ports.3-463
