Put governor body (12) in vise so that bottom of body is up. Install new
filter (11) in governor body.
Install and tighten end cap (10).
Remove governor body (12) from vise and install
in vise so that end cap (10) is down. Install
valve (9) in governor body, round end first. Be
sure valve is seated correctly.
Install guide (8), flange end first.
Install new spring (7) on guide (8).
Install new O-ring (6) in groove on housing (5).
Install housing (5) in governor body
(12). Screw housing into governor
body same number of turns recorded
during disassembly.
Install and tighten setscrew (2)
using socket head screw key.
Install adjusting screw (4) in hous-
ing (5). Turn adjusting screw to get
same measurement recorded during
disassembly.
Install and tighten nut (3).
Install and adjust air compressor
governor (refer to TM 5-3805-
262-20).
