NutInstall new expansion plug (36) incommutator end cover (37) with roundside of expansion plug toward out-side. Using hammer and punch, bendexpansion plug to hold it in place.Lift up brush springs (29) andpush brush set (28) brushesagainst commutator. Lower brushsprings until they are on top ofbrush set (28) brushes and hold-ing brushes against commutator.Install cover band (24) and secure with screw (22) and nut (23). Tightenscrew and nut securely.Install two washers (13), four lock washers (12), and nuts (11) onsolenoid (14) studs.Install two washers (10), three lock washers (9), and nuts (8) onsolenoid (14) studs.Position strap (7) on solenoid (14) stud.Install lock washer (6) and nut (5) to secure strap (7) to solenoid (14).Position solenoid (14) and strap (7) on motor.Install and tightenInstall and tighten2.
