If there was constant hydraulic oil leakage from elbow in step (4) above,
piston packing in left steering cylinder assembly is damaged. Replace
left steering cylinder assembly (page 3-562).
Remove plug from hose.
Reconnect hose to elbow at rod end of left steering cylinder assembly.
Start engine, turn loader all the way to left, then turn off engine.
Disconnect hose from elbow at rod end of right steering cylinder assem-
bly.
Install plug in hose.
Start engine and operate at full throttle.
Before performing following step, warn personnel to stay away from sides
of loader between front and rear chassis. Failure to do so will cause
death or serious injury to those personnel due to chassis pivoting and
crushing them. If personnel are injured, obtain medical assistance
immediately.
(13) Turn steering wheel to left and hold for a full left turn. Tell assistant
to check for hydraulic oil leakage from elbow at rod end of right steer-
ing cylinder assembly.
(14) Turn off engine.
(15) If there was constant hydraulic oil leakage from elbow in step (13)
above, piston packing in right steering cylinder assembly is damaged.
Replace right steering cylinder assembly (page 3-562).
(16) Remove plug from hose.
(17) Reconnect hose to elbow at rod end of right steering cylinder assembly.
