Install retaining ring (35) in commutator
end cover (37).
If removed, position brush plate (32) on
commutator end cover (37) with match marks
alined. Secure using four lock washers (31)
and screws (30).
If removed, install eight brush springs
(29) on brush plate (32) by positioning on
spring holder and turning spring into cor-
rect position.
Pull brush springs (29) away from brush holders and install brush set
(28) brushes so that match marks on brush terminals are alined with match
mark on brush plate (32).
Put brush set (28) brushes and brush springs (29) in position shown.
Put commutator end cover (37) in position on housing (48) with match
marks alined.
(13) Install two lock washers (27) and screws (26) to secure brush set (28) to
field coil (47) terminal.
(14) Install four capscrews (25).
(15) Install armature (21) in field coil (47) and housing (48).
