g. Circuit Relief Valves (Cont).
DISASSEMBLY (SHEET 1 OF 2)
Dry cleaning solvent P-D-680 used to clean parts is toxic and flammable.
Wear protective goggles and gloves and use only in a well ventilated
area. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes and dont breathe
vapors. Do not use near open flame or excessive heat and dont smoke
when using it. Failure to do so could cause serious injury. If you be-
come dizzy while using cleaning solvent, get fresh air and medical
attention immediately.
If contact with skin or clothes is made, flush
with

large amounts of water.
If contact with eyes is made, wash eyes
water and get medical aid immediately.
Clean all dirt and grease from control
valve assembly using cleaning solvent
P-D-680. Dry using clean cloths.
NOTE
Do not mix parts from one
circuit relief valve with
parts from another circuit
relief valve. Keep mating
parts together.

Using paint, put identifying
numbers on circuit relief
valves and control valve body
as shown.
Using open end wrench, remove
body (1) from control valve
body .
Put body (1) in a soft jawed
vise with expansion plug (2)
upwards .
Using 1/4 inch diameter drill
bit, drill hole in center of
expansion plug (2).
Pry expansion plug (2) from
body (1) using drive pin punch.
Remove plug (3).
