3-23. CONTROL LEVERS AND LINKAGES MAINTENANCE
This task covers removal, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, reassembly, installa-
tion, and adjustment of control valve assembly control levers and linkages.

REMOVAL

NOTE
PRELIMINARY PROCEDURE: Loader turned fully left.
At control valve assembly, remove three cotter pins (1) and clevis pins
(2).
Just above control valve assembly, remove three cotter pins (3) and clevis
pins (4).
Remove lift arm control link rod (5), bucket tilt control link rod (6), and
clam control link rod (7).
If necessary, loosen nut (8) and loosen and remove clevis (9). Remove nut
(8). Repeat above to remove remaining nuts (8) and clevis (9).
Inside cab, loosen and remove six nuts (10), lock washers (11), screws
(12), and washers (13). Remove control cover (14) from cab.
At bottom of control support, loosen and remove four nuts (15), lock
washers (16), washers (17), capscrews (18), and washers (19).
Grasp control support with assembled parts, lift from cab deck, and remove
from cab.
