When using chain hoist to remove or install parts, be sure chain hoist
is securely fastened to part and that all slack in chain is taken up.

y attach chain hoist to clam assembly (11). Raise clam assembly just

b. If removed, install new wear plate (14) as follows:
(1) Use a grinder to remove any welds or extra metal on clam assembly (11)
that will prevent new wear plate (14) from fitting correctly.

Position wear plate and use four C-clamps to hold wear plate in position.
