If necessary for replacement, remove two bushings (13). Use hammer and 1-3/4
inches diameter by 3 inches long rod. Drive bushing outward from blade assem-
bly (10). If necessary, use chain hoist to position blade assembly.

k. If necessary, remove blade cutting edge assembly (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).
Use chain hoist to position blade assembly (10).
When using chain hoist to remove or install parts, be sure chain hoist
is securely fastened to part and that all slack in chain is taken up.
Failure to do so could cause serious injury due to part falling on you.
If you are injured by falling equipment, obtain medical aid immediately.
l. Lower blade assembly (10) to ground and remove chain hoist. Attach chain hoist
to clam assembly (11). Raise clam assembly just enough to put wood blocks un-
der clam assembly as shown.
m. If necessary, remove clam bucket shank assemblies (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).
n. If necessary, remove clam bucket cutting edge (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).
Wear tinted goggles approved for use with acetylene torch when using
acetylene torch. Failure to do so could cause blindness.
o. If necessary, use acetylene cutting torch and remove wear plate (14) from clam
assembly (11). Keep distortion to a minimum amount when removing wear plate.
