Live steam used to clean parts can cause severe and painful injury due
to scalding. Use only with effective personal protective equipment
(goggles/shield, gloves, rubber apron, etc.). Failure to do so could
cause serious or painful burns due to scalding. If you are scalded,
immerse affected area in cold water and seek medical attention
immediately.
(1) Clean exterior of cylinder block (8) using live steam.
Compressed air used for cleaning purposes will not exceed 30 psi. Use
only with effective chip guarding and personal protective equipment
(goggles/shield, gloves, etc). Failure to do so could cause serious
injury to eyes and possible blindness.
If you hurt your eyes or if a
foreign object is blown into your eyes, seek medical attention
immediately.
(2)
Dry exterior of cylinder block (8) using compressed air.
(3) Clean cylinder block (8) oil passages using compressed air and brass wire
probe to remove any blockages.
