1. If sensor's frequency is 300 to 700 Hz

N OT E
On some machines, it may be necessary to start engine in order to take sensor
through its full operating range.
(f) Without disconnecting sensor or
hardware associated with sensor from
machine, take sensor through its full
operating range.
3. Check signal circuit at ECM.
