RIDE CONTROL PRESSURE SWITCH REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL
1.
Disconnect wiring harness (1) from ride control pres-
sure switch (2).
2.
Remove ride control pressure switch (2) and O-ring
(3) from elbow (4). Discard O-ring.
INSTALLATION
1.
Lubricate new O-ring (3) with thin coat of clean oil,
install O-ring on ride control pressure switch (2), and
install assembly in elbow (4). Tighten switch to 26 2
lb-ft (35 3 Nm).
2.
Connect wiring harness (1) to ride control pressure
switch (2).

3.
Check oil level and fill hydraulic tank with oil if necessary (WP 0137 00).
4.
Run engine until normal operating temperature is reached (TM 5-3805-290-10).
5.
Operate machine using ride control (TM 5-3805-290-10).
6.
Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-290-10).
7.
Check for hydraulic oil leaks.
8.
Install ride control accumulator guard (WP 0107 00).
