Nitrogen Charging Procedure - Continued
7.
Close valve (13) and close chuck (17) on nitrogen cyl-
inder. Remove chuck (17) from nitrogen cylinder.
8.
Turn valve (15) of nitrogen charging chuck (14) coun-
terclockwise to fully close nitrogen charging valve (9).
9.
Remove nitrogen charging chuck (14) from nitrogen
charging valve (9) of pilot oil accumulator (2).
10.
Install protective cap (8) on nitrogen charging valve
(9).

Check hydraulic fluid level (TM 5-3805-290-10).
WARN I N G
Ensure steering frame lock is connected. DO NOT operate machine with steering frame lock connected.
Failure to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
13.
Secure steering frame lock in stowed position (TM 5-3805-290-10).
14.
Run engine until normal operating temperature is reached (TM 5-3805-290-10).
15.
Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-290-10).
16.
Check for hydraulic leaks.
17.
Install right panel between cab and engine access door (WP 0110 00).
