RIDE CONTROL ACCUMULATOR MAINTENANCE - CONTINUED

INSTALLATION
1.
Place clamp (8) and accumulator (2) in position and loosely install two washers (7) and nuts (6) on accumulator clamp.
2.
Place accumulator (2) in position and install three washers (5) and bolts (4) on top of accumulator.
3.
Tighten two nuts (6) on clamp (8).
4.
Lubricate new O-ring (3) with thin coat of clean oil and install on line (1).
5.
Connect line (1) to accumulator (2).
6.
Check ride control accumulator (2) for proper precharge. Refer to Testing and Charging in this work package.
7.
Install left chassis guards (WP 0107 00).
8.
Install left ladder (WP 0106 00).
9.
Install washer bottle (WP 0118 00).
WAR N I N G
Before operating equipment, secure the steering frame lock in the stowed position. DO NOT operate
machine with steering frame lock connected. Failure to lock steering frame lock into the stowed position
before operating can result in loss of steering and injury or death to personnel.
10.
Secure steering frame lock in stowed position (TM 5-3805-290-10).
