Measure voltage between starting relay
12V
Perform open harness test for circuit
pin 30, circuit 120B (R), fuse box side,
NO
present?
120B (WP 0173).
Center).
YES
Disconnect battery power (WP 0142).
Remove starter relay and solenoid fuse
(TM 5-3805-292-10).
Connect a jumper wire to starting relay
pins 30, circuit 120B (R), fuse box side,
12V
Repair circuit 626 or replace chassis
and 87 circuit 626A (W), fuse box side.
NO
present?
wiring harness (WP 0146).
Connect battery power (WP 0142).
Measure voltage between starter solenoid
fuse (25A) pin AA2 circuit 626A (W) and
Center).
YES
Measure voltage between starter relay
12V
Perform open harness test for circuit
(WP 0161), circuit 625C (W), relay side,
NO
present?
625C (WP 0173).
Starting & Charging System).
YES
Disconnect battery power (WP 0142).
Disconnect starter solenoid
wire from starter relay (WP 0161).
Replace starter relay
Check continuity between starter relay,
YES
present?
circuit 178S (B), harness side and ground.
Charging System).
NO
Repair circuit 178 or replace engine
wiring harness (WP 0149).
