DO NOT smoke or permit any open flame in area of SSL while you are servicing fuel system. Be sure hose nozzle is

grounded against filler tube during refueling to prevent static electricity.
DO NOT perform fuel system checks, inspections, or maintenance while smoking or near fire, flames, or sparks. Fuel
o
may ignite.
Wear fuel-resistant gloves and eye protection when handling fuels. If exposed to fuel, promptly wash exposed skin and
o
change fuel-soaked clothing.
ALWAYS shut down engine before refueling.
o
Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury or death to personnel or damage to equipment.
o
WARNING
Particles blown by compressed air are hazardous. DO NOT exceed
Check for water and sediment in
15 psi (103 kPa) nozzle pressure when drying parts with compressed
air. Use a maximum of 30 psi (207 kPa) when cleaning components.

pump, replace fuel injection pump (WP 0044).

Check fuel supply pressure from

inspect valve for damage and
proper movement and seating
