WARN I N G
DO NOT smoke or permit any open flame in area of skid steer loader while you are
servicing fuel system. Be suer nozzle is grounded against filler tube during refueling to
prevent static electricity.
DO NOT perform fuel system maintenance while near heat, flames, or sparks. Fuel may
ignite, causing injury or death to personnel or damage to equipment.
Operating personnel must wear fuel-resista t gloves when handling fuels. If exposed to
n
fuel, promptly wash exposed skin and change fuel-soaked clothing.
Drain the fuel filter element water separator into a container, and dispose of contents in
accordance with local environmental regulations.
Use the fuel filter element drain valve to dain fuel out of the fuel filter element for
r
approximately 5 seconds. This will prevent fuel from running over the top of the fuel filter
element upon removal.
Failure to follow these warnings ma result in injury to personnel.
