Fuel Tank
DO NOT perform fuel system checks, inspections, or
maintenance while smoking or near fire, flames, or
sparks. Fuel may ignite.
Wear fuel-resistant gloves and eye protection when
handling fuels. If exposed to fuel, promptly wash
exposed skin and change fuel-soaked clothing.
Failure to follow these warnngs may result in injury to

personnel.

a. Remove drain plug, drain fuel,
and check for water and sediment
from tank (LO 5-3805-292-13).
WARN I N G
Adhesives and sealing compounds can burn easily, can
give off harmful vapors, and are harmful to skin and
clothing. Keep away from open fire and use in a well-
ventilated area. If adhesive or sealing compound
contacts skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap
and water. Failure to follow this warning may result in
death or injury to personnel.
b. Coat threads of drain plug with
sealing compound. Install drain
plug.
c. Fill fuel tank.
