panels (WP 0347).
2. Remove transmission ECM cover
(WP 0266).
3. Disconnect connector C-C13
(WP 0012, Figure 25) from
transmission ECM J2.
4. Using digital multimeter
Continuity - Replace lower cab wiring
(WP 0174), test for continuity
harness (WP 0291).

Proceed to Test Step 6.

1. Ensure all harness connectors are
connected.
2. Install rear frame wiring harness
connector (Figure 1, Item 1), new
lockwasher (Figure 1, Item 3), and
nut (Figure 1, Item 2) on hydraulic
filter bypass switch (Figure 1,
Item 4).
3. Start and idle engine until normal
operating temperature (hydraulic
oil 110F) is reached (TM 5-3805-
298-10).
4. Using MSD (WP 0008), verify
Event Code E0236 Is Active - Repeat
event code E0236 is not active.
