3. Remove right engine access panel
(WP 0348).
4. Disconnect connector P-C7
5. Install a jumper wire between
terminal 1 and terminal 2 of
Figure 94).
6. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
7. Turn transmission control lever to
4 and push to F (forward) position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
8. Using MSD, check for active
Diagnostic Code 1402-5 Solenoid
Valve 2 (Forward High) Current
Below Normal Remains Active
Proceed to Test Step 3.
Diagnostic Code 1402-6 Solenoid
Valve 2 (Forward High) Current
Above Normal Becomes Active
Replace solenoid valve 2 (forward high)
(WP 0310).
Proceed to Test Step 5.
Test Step 3. Test Wiring Harness for
High Resistance or Open.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Remove left lower cab access
panels (WP 0347).
3. Remove transmission ECM cover
(WP 0266).
4. Disconnect connector C-C12
Transmission ECM J1.
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Replace transmission ECM (WP 0266).
between connector C-C12
Proceed to Test Step 5.
and terminal 60.
Proceed to Test Step 4.
