1. Install a jumper wire between
terminal 11 and ground of
connector fuse module 1
(WP 0012, Figure 44).
2. Remove right lower cab access
panels (WP 0347).
3. Disconnect connector HN-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 66) from
connector C-C1 (WP 0012,
Figure 65).
4. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Replace main cab wiring harness
between connector C-C1
(WP 0293).
(WP 0012, Figure 65) terminal 13
Proceed to Test Step 23.
and ground.
Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms
Proceed to Test Step 12.
Test Step 12. Test for Open Engine
Wiring Harness.
1. Disconnect connector EN-C2
(WP 0012, Figure 12) from
connector C-C18 (WP 0012,
Figure 13).
2. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Replace lower cab wiring harness
between connector EN-C2
(WP 0291).
(WP 0012, Figure 12) terminal 16
Proceed to Test Step 23.

Replace engine wiring harness
(WP 0299).
Proceed to Test Step 23.
Test Step 13. Test Forward Horn
Fuse Replacement.
1. Install dome light (TM 5-3805-298-
10).
2. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
