1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Install dome light (TM 5-3805-298-
10).
3. Swap blackout horn relay with
blackout headlight relay at fuse
panel (TM 5-3805-298-10).
4. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
5. Turn dome light switch to ON
position (TM 5-3805-298-10).
6. Observe operation of dome light

2. Remove blackout horn relay from
fuse panel (TM 5-3805-298-10).
3. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
4. Using digital multimeter
Voltage 18 to 26 V Proceed to step 5.
(WP 0174), test for voltage
Voltage Less Than 18 V Replace
between connector C-C31
lower cab wiring harness (WP 0291).
