Light Switch.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Remove military light switch
(WP 0257).
3. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Proceed to Test Step 9.

Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms
(WP 0012, Figure 142) terminal J
Replace military light switch (WP 0257).
and terminal F.
Proceed to Test Step 23.
Test Step 9. Test for Open Lower Cab
Wiring Harness.
1. Remove right lower cab access
panels (WP 0347).
2. Disconnect connector HN-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 66) from
connector C-C1 (WP 0012,
Figure 65).
3. Install a jumper wire between
terminal D1 and terminal D2 of
connector C-C31 (WP 0012,
Figure 74).
4. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Replace main cab wiring harness
between connector C-C1
(WP 0293).

Proceed to Test Step 23.

Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms
Replace lower cab wiring harness
(WP 0291).
Proceed to Test Step 23.
Test Step 10. Test for Open Lighting
Fuse.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Remove left engine access panel
(WP 0350).
3. Remove lighting fuse from fuse
module 1 (WP 0012, Figure 44,
Item 8).
