8. Connect jumper wire between
terminal 3 and terminal 4 of
camera cable 1 connector
(WP 0012, Figure 201).
9. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Proceed to Test Step 4.

Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms
connector (WP 0012, Figure 200)
Replace middle camera communication
terminal 3 and terminal 4.
cable (WP 0268).
Proceed to Test Step 15.
Test Step 4. Test for Open WAVS
Camera Communication Cable 2.
1. Remove cooling fan (WP 0234).
2. Disconnect camera cable 2
connector (WP 0012, Figure 203)
from camera cable connector.
3. Install a jumper wire between
terminal 1 and terminal 2 of
camera cable 2 connector
(WP 0012, Figure 203).
4. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Proceed to step 5.

Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms
connector (WP 0012, Figure 202)
Replace rear camera communication
terminal 1 and terminal 2.
cable (WP 0268).
Proceed to Test Step 15.
5. Remove jumper wire from terminal
1 and terminal 2 of camera cable 2
connector (WP 0012, Figure 203).
6. Install a jumper wire between
terminal 3 and terminal 4 of
camera cable 2 connector
(WP 0012, Figure 203).
7. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Proceed to Test Step 5.

Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms
connector (WP 0012, Figure 202)
Replace rear camera communication
terminal 3 and terminal 4.
cable (WP 0268).
Proceed to Test Step 15.
