Test Step 4. Test for Voltage at Ride
Control Solenoid.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Remove lower left access panel
(WP 0347).
3. Disconnect connector PE-C4
(WP 0012, Figure 217) from ride
control solenoid.
4. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
5. Connect MSD (WP 0008). Select
Transmission 924H.
6. Turn ride control switch to AUTO
position.
7. On MSD, activate ride control
Control Solenoid Override
Voltage 18 to 28 V Replace ride
between connector PE-C4
Proceed to Test Step 21.
(WP 0012, Figure 217) terminal 1
Voltage Less Than 18 V Proceed to
and terminal 2 (ground).

Control Fuse.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Remove ride control fuse from
fuse panel (TM 5-3805-298-10).
