NOTE
Replacement front crankshaft oil seal is provided with plastic seal protector during
shipping. Seal protector is removed and discarded before front crankshaft oil seal is
installed.
1. Position new front crankshaft oil seal (Figure 2, Item 1) on crankshaft (Figure 2, Item 3) and remove seal
protector (Figure 2, Item 2) from front crankshaft oil seal (Figure 2, Item 1). Discard seal protector.
