2. Attach tooling (Figure 3, Item 4) to crankshaft (Figure 3, Item 5).
NOTE
Install front crankshaft oil seal as noted during removal.
Install front crankshaft oil seal to a depth of 0.256 0.008 in. (6.5 0.2 mm) into engine
front housing.
Part number on item 3 should face out away from engine.
3. Use tooling (Figure 3, Items 1, 2, and 3) to install front crankshaft oil seal in engine front housing
(Figure 3, Item 6).
